Puerto Rico is a well known tropical island known for it's beautiful sandy beaches along the green lush astounding mountains. Upon your arrival you soon will realize all you have learned thus far is miniscule compared to what your about to embark as you begin delving into the deptness of the true authentic Puerto Rico. But this topic is only about the food and yes, Puerto Rico does it well and when it comes to the most salubrious spanish dishes known on the island, certainly there no shortcoming since so much variety and choices to choose from

East of Puerto Rico offers an array of good and recommended choices especially if you're longing for exquisite-sea food dishes. The red-snapper or even the full lobster dish, perhaps my preferred and most desirable choice of all. Simply marinated with adobo, salad, and white rice, served with green fried plantains and avocado salad. The best way to eat the entire fish is with your own hands and the use of fingers. Finding the bones becomes more easier and adds a better experience at the end.

Towards the south of Puerto Rico, one cannot discard the city of Ponce, just an hour drive from San Juan, thus, not on the coastal waters, but no need for concern since Ponce has quite an impressive array of restaurants.

La Comida Criolla of Puerto Rico, so tasty and aromatic, can simply be broken to down to various rich flavors and condiments that simply add texture and fragrance. El Sofrito, is what enhances the flavor of our local cuisine. Once combined with pepper, onions or garlic, The rich aroma than begins to flourish adding the aromatic smell and flavors of truly authentic Puerto-rican food.

So remember don't forget to stroll down the beaches of luquillo, this photo below taken of my guest unwinding while having lunch after a long hike at the rainforest.
