My Name is Robert Talavera Ramos, 

My name is Robert Talavera and present owner of Robert Touring Adventure. We are located in San Juan Puerto Rico. Since 2001, I have worked as a tour-operator assisting and guiding visitors throughout the island. All my experiences throughout this wonderful journey has given me the tools to appreciate better life. From the moment I arrived on that scorching hot summer, the awed feeling of Joy suddenly became so real as I watch the sun hovering over the horizon, I knew instantly something special was bound to happen. It felt like a calling from the skies, maybe perhaps telling me the time has come to settle in Puerto Rico. Today, twenty sum years have passed, and I continue moving forward with the passion, love, and care as I did the moment I began this journey, but more important, the fulfillment that touches my heart as I watch the smiling faces and to know that the warmth of our people has reached through their souls.

I was born and raised in Manhattan and so proud to be a New-Yorker. A City that taught me all I could ever wish for. It propelled me to move forward and reach the goals I had set out to fulfill. My commitment and sacrifice of years bested surely paid off. New York still lingers my taught every single day of my life, and always will for as long as I live. I have moved on to sunny Puerto Rico where I rise to the early sound of the ocean waves along the comfort of the cool breeze emanating from the lushy tropical mountains.

As the Sunset slowly fades away, the fond days of living in New York suddenly began to emerge. those unforgettable wrenching days of long hours of work. My hands and fragile toes constantly shivered as the gushing winds spattered my face like a torrent of ice water. But the memories whether good or bad taught me a valuable lesson in life. Surely my incendiary spirit became the vital force in moving forward towards my goals and aspirations. I do confess, the dazzling pace of New York surely will be missed. The days I sat on the bleaches cheering for the New York Yankees. The savory food of our good friend Richard's Deli who operated the cafe just around the corner minutes from home still lingers my mind. The glittering flashes of the good times growing up will never vanish in my taught.

Suddenly the euphoria I once had slowly faded away as I juggle to find answers on what to do from that moment on. I realize the piece of the missing puzzle was to find true happiness in my life. In the summer of early 2001, a sudden rise of hope emerged like a glittering light beginning to rise. The taught off moving to Puerto Rico began to surface. The imagery off sandy beaches and blue waters. Yes, all good reason for my heart to quiver with joy and excitement. Finally, the time had come to say adios to New York. The start off a new life as my dream was about to become reality.

So, it was 2001, I Launch a new career in the Tourism Industry, with no experience, but a thriving desire to learn about the hospitality business, I began working as a tour-operator and after 6 years of gaining experience in the field, I realize the timing was perfect to launch my own company. Today, as a representative and ambassador of our Tourism industry in San Juan Puerto Rico, my obligation and commitment will carry on for as long as I live. I will continue to support and represent our Island of Puerto Rico with Passion, love, as I have shown from the start.
